Custom units are designed and manufactured in our NRCS-registered Gauteng facility. A dedicated project manager owns each project from specification through to commissioning, and every build is delivered nationwide and across the SADC region.

A hazmat trailer for a power station spill team
Twin-axle, all-aluminium, five lockable roller shutters and its own battery. Quoted against the client's written specification, built in five weeks and handed over on site in August 2026.
A Chrome Beneficiation Washplant, Fabricated and Commissioned
Trailored built the steel for Flow Minerals' chrome washplant from drawing to start-up: feed bins, wash bins, slurry distributor heads and an eight-metre spiral support structure, erected and commissioned on site.
From 34-Ton Tautliner to Mobile Film Studio
Trailored stripped a 34-ton curtain-side tautliner back to its chassis and rebuilt it as a self-contained mobile film studio — private dressing rooms, an en-suite bathroom with full plumbing, and on-board power, all road-legal on the original tri-axle.

How long does it take to build a custom trailer?
Standard catalogue builds are completed in 7 working days. Highly customised or complex specifications may require additional time — timelines are confirmed during consultation.
Do you offer payment plans or financing options?
Yes. Trailored offers 3-month lay-buys on qualifying builds. Formal financing partnerships are coming soon — let us know if you would like to be notified when flexible financing becomes available.
How much do food trailers and mobile kitchens start from?
Entry-level food trailers and mobile kitchen builds start from R29,950. Final pricing depends on the trailer size, interior layout, equipment, finishes, and any custom requirements.
Can I see a catalogue, pictures, and sizes before choosing?
Yes. We can send you the relevant catalogue, photos, sizes, and example layouts on WhatsApp. Once you choose the model or style you like, our team can prepare a quote around your budget and requirements.
What details do you need to send me a quote?
To quote accurately, send us the trailer type you want, preferred size, equipment list, budget range, delivery area, and any custom layout or branding requirements. For company quotes, include the business details that should appear on the quotation or invoice.
Can Trailored trailers be customized for specific industries?
Absolutely! We specialize in industry-specific customization. Whether you need a mobile clinic with medical equipment, a food trailer with commercial kitchen specifications, or a mining support unit built for harsh conditions, we design and build to your exact requirements.
What areas does Trailored service?
We are based in Gauteng and deliver nationwide across Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and other provinces. We also supply neighbouring SADC countries.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is quoted based on your delivery address and the type of trailer being transported. We deliver nationwide and can also assist with neighbouring SADC deliveries where applicable.
Are Trailored trailers compliant with South African regulations?
Yes, every trailer is built in our NRCS-registered facility and aligned to applicable SABS standards. Gas and electrical compliance certificates can be issued at an additional cost when required.
Are registration and roadworthy papers included?
Yes. Trailored handles trailer registration and licensing for new builds, and roadworthy papers are included where applicable. Ownership is transferred to you once the trailer is delivered.
What after-sales support does Trailored provide?
Each new build carries a 12-month warranty. We provide ongoing support via WhatsApp, phone, and email, along with maintenance, repairs, and upgrade services for the lifetime of your unit.
