01 Who it is for

Teams that have to arrive with everything.

Spill response is a callout job. Whatever is not on the trailer is not on site.

01 — Energy

Power stations

Oil, fuel and chemical spills across a large site, often at night and often a long walk from the nearest store.

02 — Mining & process

Mines and chemical plants

Reagent and hydrocarbon containment, with kit that has to stay dry, locked and accounted for between incidents.

03 — Public sector

Municipalities, fire & rescue

Roadside hazmat callouts and depot response, where the unit is towed by whatever vehicle is available.

06 Questions

Before you send the spec.

What does a hazmat trailer cost?

There is no list price, because no two are the same. Door count, shelving, lighting, battery and paint all move the number. Send us a specification or a list of what has to fit and we will quote against it.

Can you work from our own technical specification?

Yes, and we prefer it. The base configuration on this page came from a client spec document that we priced and built to, clause by clause.

Does it need the tow vehicle for power?

No. Compartment lights, beacons and flashers run off the trailer's own deep-cycle battery. It recharges from the vehicle while towing, or from a 220 V socket through the supplied 10 m shore line.

Do you supply the spill kit as well?

We can. On the delivered unit the response equipment was supplied alongside the trailer. Most clients either specify their own kit or have us source it against a list.

07 Start your project

Tell us what has to go in the trailer and where it has to work.

We will come back with a quote and a drawing. Send the specification, or a list of what has to fit, to corporate@trailored.co.za.
